The Death of Decency, Terror From the Prairie By G.C. Stevens

  

The Grave Monument of John Rafferty who was murdered by Jesse James and his gang in Adair Iowa in 1873 after the Civil War. John is one of millions of innocent people who have been murdered or fell victim to genocide by those who were radicalized by political ideology and political motivations. 

One does not have to look hard to find the roots of violence in the United States. Our history is permeated with senseless violence.

This Editorial was inspired by questions and comments from other writers and true historians in reference to the assassination of political activist Charlie Kirk. Another senseless murder in America.

Over the last thirty years, I have crisscrossed the country from east to west and north to south, reenacting and writing about American history. I have met many people along the way during this journey from many different states. Alongside of that I was a lifelong resident of Illinois and I was born and raised in the city of Chicago. I served eighteen years in the military, in the U.S. Navy during the cold war and later in the Illinois National Guard.

 I was a Law Enforcement Officer in Illinois with a combined service of over thirty years. I have often reflected upon those past experiences when I write stories here, or I publish books. I have seen so much violence and death during those years. A fact that gives me great pause but also ironically makes it easy for me to speak and write about the violent outlaws and their Lawman pursuers in a three-dimensional manner.                                                                                

These bandit and outlaws permeated the wild west and frontier. We all probably have some working of what the wild west looked. Thanks to books, movies and T.V But there's a much deeper and darker history that escapes most people, because it isn't spoken about in modern classrooms. The history of organized crime and violence actually began in earnest when the American frontier started to open up in the 1830's and 1840's. Proof of this can be found in the book "Banditti of The Prairie" by Edward Bonnie. A major crime spree started east of Mississippi River in the 1840's. It sprouted from the Mormon settlement at Nuavoo Illinois, under Joseph Smith who had declared himself a master mason under the freemason system.  The Mormons were pressured to leave Illinois when Smith and his brother Hyrum were killed by a mob, in Carthage Illinois. The Mormons moved west down the Mormon Trail and The Santa Fe Trail into the interior of the frontier. Carrying the lawless with them.

 Frontier lawlessness lit the fuse on the American civil war, when the violent abolitionist "John Brown" conducted  military style guerilla operations in Iowa and Kansas, and murdering several people in the Kansas Territory. His actions literally incited the civil war.  In the post war years, the violence later culminated in a bloody frenzy that occurred in the Arizona Territory between former pro southern factions and democrats in the 1880s at a place called Tombstone.  These crime sprees resurfaced many times around world, during the Bolshevik revolution, the Chinese Communist revolution, the Pol Pot regime in Cambodia after Saigon Vietnam fell to the communists and in the United States, in places like Chicago during the 1969 Democratic National Convention "Days of Rage". I can speak directly to that time period. Because I was a young boy of ten years old living near the epicenter of those horrible riots in Chicago during that time. I remember the martial law that took grip on the city during that time, I remember it well.                                                                                                              

PEACEFUL DAYS INTERUPTED

After a long period of war and unrest, the 1970s ushered in a rather peaceful period which lasted until 2001, then on 9-11-2001 the attack on the World Trade Center happened.  This deeply profound and confused incident changed the United States in ways that are still being felt today, still confused, and a fact which I believe has great bearing on what's happening right now. I could give a lot of historic background on how we arrived at this point. But for sake of brevity, I will not go down that road. I only wish to address the question(s) and attempt to rationalize the occurrences of last few days.                                                                            

On September 10th, 2025. A Conservative Activist, by the name of Charlie Kirk, who a young Father and husband was killed at the hands a of a crazed leftist gunman. Another bandit of the prairie had reared its hateful head. Many good, decent people are trying with all of their spiritual might to reconcile the violence which had taken grip on this nation. On the 13th of September I received an email from a friend and fellow writer, asking me what I thought of the current situation.  I felt that I had to address this. 

Q:  How about that bastard that shot Charlie Kirk? I bet our liberal education system made sure to brainwash him into thinking that he was no different than an animal. Surprised he didn’t take his life like all the other cowards?

A: Our education system is damaged beyond repair. I pulled my children out high school when this all started, and I completed their education by home schooling. I did this because they were scared and confused. This fact was directly reflected in their school reports. But the school was blaming it on me, when in fact they had stripped my voice from to my children and grandchildren long before this time. My sons were extremely traumatized earlier on by their liberal mother. I will not get into the details of this affair, except to say that these types of individuals, because they are liberal females they (the democrat voting base) are defended violently by the school systems and liberal family courts. These "social systems" did nothing but divide the nation, divide parents, and separate children from their fathers. What we are seeing is the result of that program

Q: It sounds like this guy even had a decent upbringing. He brings shame upon his family. I hope he has to look into the eyes of Charlie’s wife and children.

A. Thers is still a lot to learn here. Many additional facts are being brought to light. There appears to be a grand conspiracy at this point in time. This is driven by "separatist hate" Much in the way that the Abolitionist John Brown was politically motivated to hack family members to death with broad swords. The similarities are striking and profound.  We give our children over to the school system for at least ten years, twelve if they happen to finish H.S.  Where they spend 3rd of every day for ten (or twelve) years listening to the rhetoric of  radicals, child molester's, and atheists. These systems operate behind closed doors. Where no parent is allowed to know what happens there. Most every school conference I ever attended felt like the Spanish Inquisition, where I was gaslighted and blamed for the short comings of the systems. This problem was created in these cesspools. 

Q/ Comment: It’s both pathetic and funny how liberals think that this will silence the rhetoric against them. I can testify personally that it won’t. Because, up until the assassination, the only thing I knew about Kirk was that he was showing up on my Facebook page, appearing to be one of these dudes that these Christian nationalist churches bring in to speak. Even though I consider myself a follower of Christ, I am in no way in favor of having any faith become a national religion. So I scrolled right on by. But after the assassination, I was curious, and started watching Kirk videos. He was an extremely eloquent voice against the fallacies of liberalism. I then wished that I had been paying attention to him all along. I’m sure that millions will be as curious as I was, and will hear just how foolish and even hateful liberal thought is. So Charlie’s death will actually only help to turn people around who were deceived, and probably exponentially so. So that is the silver lining in this tragedy. And I think that it would be one that Charlie, in spite of leaving behind a family, would feel justified to have died for.

A: These is a wonder point that you made here, I myself started to wake up in 2014, when a I found out some deep secrets in my personal life and things that were going on around me that I was unaware of. This situation caused me to ask some fundamental and simple questions. That question was this: "As a male, what rights do I have?" This question exploded my beliefs and revealed that I had a less rights than others. Less rights than women, less rights than African Americans and less rights than gays. I found that my race and gender were the Non-protected class in a world of protected "specialized classes of people." I also found out that there was literally a "men's rights movement" that had been created by a man named Paul Elam, who was a certified mental health professional, who had woken up to what was taking place in the "social industry."  He founded  "A Voice for Men." (AVFM) Which addressed the open discrimination against men in the workplace, schools and all professional organizations. Paul was quickly labeled a terrorist by the "Southern Poverty Law Center." An organization which was founded by Morris Dee's who was expelled from his own organization because it was discovered that he was extremely corrupt. AVFM featured articles which talked about civil rights, and stories about men who had been mowed down by a biased system that worked against fathers in the family court system, which had turned against males, in the most violent manner.  It's also worth that AVFM. Is completely and totally banned by Facebook. No one on this planet can post from AVFM Facebook. This ironic, because violent and pornographic content frequently appear and goes unchallenged on Facebook.

This is the state of our nation and our state of mind
